I have now spent the greater part of my life living in Colorado, a state of great beauty and diversity. One can explore mountains, deserts, canyons, plains and tundra.
All of these images have been initiated on location. They are produced by first doing a drawing in the field. Recently I am working on pastel chalk on prepared board. My technique has evolved over the years, but it always involves – first – doing a drawing in person!
