Drawings and Paintings from 2015
2015: A five-year period now ensued when I focused on being a house dad and working on my art business. The kids were getting older: and now Orion, 9, enrolled in Third Grade, Phoenix 8, in first grade. Two big projects and commissions happened for me in 2015: I won a competition to make a painting that would be turned into a paint-by-numbers project, ending up with a huge reproduction hanging on a wall in downtown Boulder, and not only did I do open studios in October but I also painted a huge mural inside a private home. I started receiving yearly commissions from SuperRupair, a Subaru repair shop in Boulder, for their annual Thanksgiving cards.
