Architectural studies from over the years. I love how buildings and structures reveal so much about human culture. I also love how light and shadow define structures, so on the one hand, these drawings are studies of light, on the other hand, they tell us a story about humanity. With a few rare exceptions these drawings were all done on location in pencil, and then later I added pen and sometimes watercolor, or I might scan the drawing and add digital color.
